Robinhood: Quick Facts

Robinhood

Robinhood is a U.S. broker-dealer best known for pioneering commission-free stock trading. Its published fee schedule lists $0 commissions on U.S. listed equities, ETFs, and OTC securities, with a per-contract options fee that is discounted for Robinhood Gold subscribers.

Robinhood's fee schedule also lists a Trading Activity Fee (a pass-through regulatory fee capped at $9.79 per transaction) and standard SEC/FINRA/CAT regulatory fees that apply to all U.S. brokers, not just Robinhood. These are set by regulators, not by Robinhood, and can change without notice per the fee schedule's own language.

Webull: Quick Facts

Webull

Webull is a U.S. broker-dealer (Webull Financial LLC, FINRA/SIPC member) offering commission-free stock, ETF, and options trading, with a separate futures affiliate (Webull Futures LLC). Its published margin page states a flat standard margin rate regardless of balance tier, with lower tiered rates available only through its Webull Premium subscription.

Webull's margin page states day-trade buying power of up to 4x equity and overnight buying power of up to 2x equity for margin accounts, and requires a minimum of 25% equity maintenance at all times — a standard margin maintenance requirement, not unique to Webull. Its SIPC coverage is supplemented by excess-SIPC policies through its clearing arrangements, per the same page.
