How this is calculated
Distances are simple differences between the current price and the level you entered, shown in both dollars and percent of the current price.
Support and resistance levels are the ones you identify from your own chart. This tool doesn't detect them automatically.
If you select a trade direction, the level behind you is treated as your risk side and the level ahead of you as your target, giving a rough risk/reward ratio for entering at the current price.
If the current price is already at or past one of your levels, that level may already be broken and the tool will flag it rather than calculate a normal distance.
This tool doesn't validate whether a level is a strong one. A level that's held multiple times generally carries more weight than one touched once.
Risk & liability disclaimer: This calculator performs simple arithmetic on the price and levels you enter and does not identify support or resistance automatically.
