How this is calculated
Trading days until zero equals your current account balance divided by your average daily loss.
Weeks until zero divides that figure by the trading days per week you enter, or 5 by default.
This is a straight-line projection, not a forecast. It assumes your average daily loss stays exactly the same every single trading day, which is unlikely in practice. The point of the number is to show how fast an unchecked loss rate compounds, not to predict your actual future balance.
If this number looks alarmingly small, that's the tool doing its job. A short runway is a signal to cut position size, tighten your daily loss limit, or stop trading and review your plan, not a signal to trade bigger to make it back faster.
This tool does not account for deposits, withdrawals, or a change in your win rate or position size going forward.
Risk & liability disclaimer: This calculator produces a mathematical projection based on the numbers you enter, assuming your current loss rate continues unchanged. It is not a forecast of your actual future account balance and not financial advice. Trading involves risk of loss, and you could lose some or all of your capital.
