How this is calculated
Profit equals your current balance minus your starting or funded balance. The suggested withdrawal equals that profit times the percentage you set.
Withdrawing a portion of profits on a schedule is a common way traders lock in gains instead of leaving 100% of an account exposed to the next drawdown.
After each withdrawal, many traders reset their starting balance to the new remaining balance, so future withdrawals are calculated against gains from that new baseline, not the original funding amount. Update the starting balance field next time you use this tool if you want that reset.
