How this is calculated
This divides your net trading result by the total hours you entered for the period. It is a simple time-versus-money ratio, nothing more.
It does not subtract taxes, does not account for the capital you had at risk, and does not count the cost of the education, tools, or subscriptions that got you here.
A single strong or weak period is not the full picture. Try running this again after a full quarter or year to see a steadier number.
This is a personal check-in, not a judgment. Time spent trading that produces a low or negative hourly rate is worth examining alongside your process, not just your results.
Risk & liability disclaimer: This calculator performs simple division on the hours and dollar figures you enter. It does not access your actual trading account, does not account for taxes, capital at risk, or costs beyond what you enter, and does not predict future results. Past trading performance is not a guarantee of future performance. This is not financial advice. Trading involves risk of loss.
