How this is calculated
The multiple equals this trade's dollar risk divided by your usual risk per trade. A result of 1.00x means this trade matches your normal size exactly.
This tool does not know why your risk changed. Sizing up on your single highest-conviction setup of the month is a different decision than sizing up because you're chasing a loss back or riding a streak of confidence.
A single oversized trade is not automatically a mistake. A pattern of trades consistently landing in the elevated or extreme range is a signal to revisit your position sizing rules directly, rather than deciding case by case in the moment.
This only compares two numbers you enter. It does not check your account size, stop distance, or margin requirements on its own.
