How much of my total profit is actually coming from a single outlier trade?

How this is calculated
Dependency percent equals your largest winning trade divided by your total net profit for the period, expressed as a percent. A figure at or above 100% means that one trade alone accounts for all, or more than all, of your net result.
A high dependency reading does not mean the outlier trade was a mistake. It means the rest of your trades, taken together, did not add meaningfully to the result, or actively took some of it back.
A trading process that depends heavily on one outlier is harder to repeat on purpose. Review whether that trade came from your normal setup and size, or from a one-off exception to your rules.
If your total net result for the period is at or below breakeven, this tool shows that directly rather than a dependency percentage, since a percentage of a loss isn't meaningful here.
