How this is calculated
This table only changes when your account size or risk-per-trade setting changes, not per trade, so you can generate it once and keep it as a reference instead of recalculating under time pressure before every entry.
Each row's maximum shares equals your dollar risk per trade divided by that row's stop distance, rounded down to a whole share.
Find the row closest to your actual planned stop distance. If it falls between two rows, round down to the smaller size, never up.
This table does not check your broker's margin or buying power requirements. Confirm any position value shown actually fits what your account allows before sizing a trade this way.
Risk & liability disclaimer: This generator performs simple division across a fixed set of stop distances using the account size and risk setting you enter. It does not know your broker's actual margin or buying power rules.
