What percentage of my trading profit is going to platform and data subscriptions?

How this is calculated
Percentage equals monthly subscription cost divided by your average monthly trading profit, multiplied by 100. This only produces a meaningful percentage when your average profit is a positive number.
Count everything recurring: charting platforms, live data feeds, scanners, chat rooms, signal services, and any subscription-based course or mentorship payment. Leave out one-time purchases like a single course you bought once.
A healthy edge should comfortably absorb its own tool costs. If subscriptions are consuming a large share of what you make, either the tools need to earn their keep or the list needs to get shorter.
This does not include commissions or per-trade fees. Use the Commission Cost Calculator for that side of your trading costs.
