How this is calculated
Expectancy per trade equals (win rate × average winner) minus (loss rate × average loser).
Required trades per month equals your monthly income goal divided by expectancy per trade. Required trades per day divides that by your trading days per month.
If you enter your planned trades per day, the tool also shows your projected monthly result at that actual pace, and the shortfall or surplus between that and your goal.
This does not account for commissions, slippage, taxes, or losing streaks, all of which pull live results below the simple math shown here.
A required trade count that's far above what you can realistically execute with discipline is a sign to lower the income goal, raise the expectancy per trade, or extend the timeline, not to force more trades into the day.
