How this is calculated
Trades remaining today equals your daily trade limit minus the trades you've already taken today.
Percent of daily limit used equals trades taken divided by your daily trade limit.
This tool only does the arithmetic on the numbers you enter. It has no connection to your broker or trading platform and does not know your actual trade count, you have to enter it yourself.
A daily trade limit is a rule you set for yourself, usually based on your strategy's normal trade frequency. Trading well past that number is a common sign of overtrading, often driven by boredom, chasing a loss back, or forcing trades that don't meet your setup.
Hitting your limit does not mean the market is done offering opportunities. It means you've reached the point where your own plan says to stop and reassess.
